Cyber Monday Sales

Cyber Monday sales are coming very soon.  You may be asking, "when are they coming?".   To help answer your questions, I suggest that you look at your calendar.  If you do not have one handy, you can use the fashion calendar and then flip to November.  Now, look for Thanksgiving.  Oops.. The Fashion Calendar may not actually list information about Thanksgiving day.  In fairness to the calendar developers, Thanksgiving is not really a fashion specific holiday.  Certainly, the pilgrims were very fashionable (kidding), but the holiday is unfortunately not all about fashion.  Because the holiday is not specific to fashion, their is no need for it to be on the fashion calendar (don't you agree).  Due to the fact that Thanksgiving may not be on the fashion calendar, you may want to trust me when I say that Thanksgiving 2011 falls on Thursday November the 24th.  OK, now that we have Thanksgiving day figured out, let's simply move to the following "Monday" to determine the date in which Cyber Monday 2011 falls.

This year the Cyber Monday sales will take place on Monday November 28, 2011.

If you are interested, their is a new website created this week regarding cyber Monday sales for clothing and fashion accessories.  If you are planning to shop for shoes, handbags, jeans, shirts or any other apparel item this holiday season, you may want to check out the new site.

By the way, you should keep your eyes open for cyber week.  You may find access to additional clothing sale opportunities.

In addition to Cyber Monday deals, you may want to learn about black Friday as well as other clothing sale opportunities from the Apparel Search fashion directory website.

What is Size XO Fashion

What is size XO fashion ? OK, it is possible you have never heard of size XO.  It is also possible that size XO does not exist or never has existed.  Well, the fact of the matter is that I am fairly sure size XO does exist.  I was on facebook last night and on the Fashion Bug page someone was asking why Fashion Bug charged more for size XO then they did for size XL.  The lady writting the post mentioned she measured them and they appeared to be the same.  Anyway, I tried to research the size and did not find much at all.  It is my understanding (possibly and incorrect understanding) that size XO clothing was created for larger size women in the same manner that size zero was created for smaller size women.  It is very possibly simply a "vanity" size. OK, here is how Fashion Bug explained the size, " The sizes XL and OX are in fact different. An OX provides more room in various areas of the garment such as the body, armholes, sleeve length and shoulders. And a 1X hav

Fashion Goes in Cycles

They say that fashion goes in cycles.  What is in fashion this year will be out of fashion next year. However, clothing that may have been in style ten years ago, can potentially be next season smashing trend.  Due to the the cyclical nature of the apparel industry it is important for designers as well as consumers to monitor past styles as well as currently trending designs.  One way to do this would be to occasionally view old fashion articles in magazines, newspapers, websites, and obviously on blogs such as this one.
