Ivana Helsinki FW13 Collection Runway Show

Ivana Helsinki proudly made its return to New York Fashion Week this season. The Finnish fashion brand, designed by Paola Suhonen, is showing its new Fall/Winter 2013 “Rotterdam” collection with a runway show at Studio 450. In attendance were Baiyu, Blaine Morris, Cory Kennedy, Devorah Rose, Lauren Rae Levy, Lily Lane, William Beatty, and Eva and Mia Fauhler. The collection was inspired by the pinup girls of Rotterdam in the 1960s, echoing their magical winter nights in the freight port, drinking whiskey in dimly lit pubs as the harbor freezed over outside. Suhonen’s signature prints remained a focal point of the line appearing in pieces with circular geometric patterns, subtle nautical stripes, and color blocking.
