WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE January 2015

The date is set. The next edition of the WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE trade shows, will take place from Friday 22nd to Monday 25th January 2016 at Porte de Versailles.  In the midst of its extensive renovation work, the Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles is keeping its doors open for events. This ambitious modernisation project aims to strengthen the role that Paris holds as tourism market leader with regards to international business.  The first phase of the renovation concerns halls 1 and 7, the main entrance and the central walkway with the creation of travelators between hall 3 and 4.   In line with this situation, WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE are having to evolve and transform. Here are a few reasons that may possibly contribute to the over population of style relevant blogs: Fashion blogs can make bloggers money (advertising, affiliate programs, etc). Fashion blogging is a creative process. Fashionistas are creative people; it makes sense that they enjoy writing. Fashion bloggers are tired of reading opinions from other people and wish to express their own opinion. Although it is embarrassing to admit, I contribute to several but do NOT derive much of an income for my efforts (yes, this is maybe because I do not write well…). Therefore, I do not think financial gain is the primary reason that the world has to

Fashion Goes in Cycles

They say that fashion goes in cycles.  What is in fashion this year will be out of fashion next year. However, clothing that may have been in style ten years ago, can potentially be next season smashing trend.  Due to the the cyclical nature of the apparel industry it is important for designers as well as consumers to monitor past styles as well as currently trending designs.  One way to do this would be to occasionally view old fashion articles in magazines, newspapers, websites, and obviously on blogs such as this one.
