Boutiques.com : Fashion Boutiques by Google

Wow, Google has developed a fashion site and I did not even know... I feel so out of touch.  Not sure how I missed this one.  Anyway, they have a new site called Boutiques.com

Boutiques.com is a personalized shopping experience, brought to you by Google, that lets you find and discover fashion goods through a collection of boutiques curated by taste-makers, celebrities, stylists, designers, and fashion bloggers. Boutiques uses visual technology to help fashionistas discover and shop their look and creates the opportunity for designers to showcase their collections and latest inspirations online.

Boutiques.com is built on technology developed by their team of fashion experts who work with engineers to “teach” computer systems to understand various patterns, pairings, and genre definitions. When signed into your account, Boutiques.com learns about your style and preferences and in turn, provides you better results and recommendations over time. Ultimately, Boutiques.com will provide shoppers with a much richer and interactive shopping experience and help drive traffic to retailers' websites.

By the way, you can find fashion boutiques on Apparel Search, if you were interested.  You can find them in the fashion boutiques section.

You may also want to check the fashion boutiques guide to find boutiques by state.

Don't forget to check the fashion boutique directory as well.

If you have a chance, check out the new Boutiques website from Google.

Check out my fashion boutique on Boutiques.com at http://www.boutiques.com/boutique/Apparel?storefront=t

What is Size XO Fashion

What is size XO fashion ? OK, it is possible you have never heard of size XO.  It is also possible that size XO does not exist or never has existed.  Well, the fact of the matter is that I am fairly sure size XO does exist.  I was on facebook last night and on the Fashion Bug page someone was asking why Fashion Bug charged more for size XO then they did for size XL.  The lady writting the post mentioned she measured them and they appeared to be the same.  Anyway, I tried to research the size and did not find much at all.  It is my understanding (possibly and incorrect understanding) that size XO clothing was created for larger size women in the same manner that size zero was created for smaller size women.  It is very possibly simply a "vanity" size. OK, here is how Fashion Bug explained the size, " The sizes XL and OX are in fact different. An OX provides more room in various areas of the garment such as the body, armholes, sleeve length and shou...

15|FIFTEEN Premium Denim Brand for young edgy women

15|FIFTEEN , a premium denim brand for young edgy women, has just announced the launch of its Fall 2013 collection. Born in Los Angeles, California on 1515 E. 15 th Street, 15|FIFTEEN 's mission is to make the world of premium denim accessible to trendsetters across the globe. 15|FIFTEEN was inspired by the country's two major fashion centers - its hometown, Los Angeles, and New York City. The creators of the youthful denim line noticed that fashion forward styles seen on the streets of these sister cities were rarely made available to a younger audience. The company decided to bridge the gap by offering on-trend denim for the junior market at a reasonable price. " The drive for the 15|FIFTEEN line is to provide our customers with the look, styling, and quality of contemporary denim, but at a better price. From the packaging, attention to detail, and fit, to the marketing, public relations, and branding initiatives, 15|FIFTEEN will be a ...
