Boutiques.com : Fashion Boutiques by Google

Wow, Google has developed a fashion site and I did not even know... I feel so out of touch.  Not sure how I missed this one.  Anyway, they have a new site called Boutiques.com

Boutiques.com is a personalized shopping experience, brought to you by Google, that lets you find and discover fashion goods through a collection of boutiques curated by taste-makers, celebrities, stylists, designers, and fashion bloggers. Boutiques uses visual technology to help fashionistas discover and shop their look and creates the opportunity for designers to showcase their collections and latest inspirations online.

Boutiques.com is built on technology developed by their team of fashion experts who work with engineers to “teach” computer systems to understand various patterns, pairings, and genre definitions. When signed into your account, Boutiques.com learns about your style and preferences and in turn, provides you better results and recommendations over time. Ultimately, Boutiques.com will provide shoppers with a much richer and interactive shopping experience and help drive traffic to retailers' websites.

By the way, you can find fashion boutiques on Apparel Search, if you were interested.  You can find them in the fashion boutiques section.

You may also want to check the fashion boutiques guide to find boutiques by state.

Don't forget to check the fashion boutique directory as well.

If you have a chance, check out the new Boutiques website from Google.

What is Size XO Fashion

What is size XO fashion?

OK, it is possible you have never heard of size XO.  It is also possible that size XO does not exist or never has existed.  Well, the fact of the matter is that I am fairly sure size XO does exist.  I was on facebook last night and on the Fashion Bug page someone was asking why Fashion Bug charged more for size XO then they did for size XL.  The lady writting the post mentioned she measured them and they appeared to be the same.  Anyway, I tried to research the size and did not find much at all.  It is my understanding (possibly and incorrect understanding) that size XO clothing was created for larger size women in the same manner that size zero was created for smaller size women.  It is very possibly simply a "vanity" size.

OK, here is how Fashion Bug explained the size, "The sizes XL and OX are in fact different. An OX provides more room in various areas of the garment such as the body, armholes, sleeve length and shoulders. And a 1X have even…

WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE January 2015

The date is set.

The next edition of the WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE trade shows, will take place from Friday 22nd to Monday 25th January 2016 at Porte de Versailles.
In the midst of its extensive renovation work, the Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles is keeping its doors open for events. This ambitious modernisation project aims to strengthen the role that Paris holds as tourism market leader with regards to international business.

The first phase of the renovation concerns halls 1 and 7, the main entrance and the central walkway with the creation of travelators between hall 3 and 4.

In line with this situation, WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE are having to evolve and transform. The areas are being rethought, reworked, to offer a more fluid experience, a clearer display of the trade shows’ offer.

By joining forces with Studio GGSV (Curator of the Saint-Etienne Design Biennial 2013) the trade shows guarantee a quality setting and optimal space layout.

The plan is set out in a star sha…
